Being a Happy Teenager

i was reading through my previous blog's entries when i came across this entry about being happy.Quotes i got from the book 'Being a Happy Teenager' by Andrew Matthews.

You would remember this book if Mrs Melissa Lim once taught you Math back in 2004.
I'm kinda in a emotional turmoil right now.
I am not sure why.
maybe it is just me or just PMS.

Happiness is an act of will.
You achieve it by taking control of your thoughts.
It's your mind.
You decide what you think about every single moment in your life.

People have this misconception.
'When i have less problems, then I'll be HAPPY.'

well that's not true in fact.
With more problems,they actually motivate you to strive harder and appreciate life better.
And i'm supporting the quote based on facts.
I used to have alot of problems and still do,
and my problems always get alot of people involved.
I feel very guilty about that,
But let's not talk about that.
I do not want to continue living in the horrible past.
So i chose to move on.(with loads of difficulties)

Fascinating isn't it?
People with the most problems usually are much happier than people with lesser problems.
People with the toughest life are USUALLY happiest in life too.
Some have very BIG problems.
But why are they happy?
It's because at some point of time,they decided being happy is the only way to live better.

You do not find happiness in the absence of problems,
you find it in spite of your problems.
Happiness is a daily decision. =)
Make a list of all things that make you happy.
It might help alot.
