first day of operations

It was the first day of operations for TCA's restaurants yesterday. I was the captain for Sugarloaf and it was a new experience for me.

I have not had the chance to work in and F&B outlet before so it was weird having to supervise the waiters/waitresses. I didn't think I did very well but I am very happy to at least learn some new stuff. Like, carrying the tray properly? haha I was never able to carry trays properly during the trainings we had.

I was stationed outside under the hot blazing sun and it was so uncomfortable!

I rewarded myself with a movie after the session, despite having a migraine yet again. What happens in Vegas was funny and sarcastic. I love their sarcasm. I wasn't able experience the full enjoyment though. Stupid migraine.

Class will only start at 4 today. I am only needed in school for an hour? I will have to rush home because I would love to watch Indiana Jones on Channel 5 today. I remember watching some scenes of the series when I was younger, but I caught no ball at all.

The whole family will be watching the latest instalment this Friday. Yes! It has been so long since the whole family watched a movie together. Family bonding yay!

Anyway after spending about 5 years in my old room, Arf and I finally moved to the room next door. We realised that the old room was too small for our stuff. The whole family had helped out to move our bed and all. I am quite happy with the new room. There's a 34" TV, computer and our exercise machine.

And the best part? We still have plenty of space left!

Lastly, my heartfelt condolences to the victims of China's earthquake and Myanmar's Cyclone Nargis. I almost cried watching/reading the news. What a tragedy.
