xmas retail party 2008

I decided to take a break from Festival&Events and since this Yusrina has been bugging me for the Xmas Retail Party photos, here you go! I shall upload okayyy

The party was held at Ami's at Siloso. The theme was supposed to be Fairytale but I have no idea why our shop ended up as something else! Seriously oh my god it was so hilarious and sickening at the same time. It was held on 11 Dec, yes a bit early for Christmas isn't it? We're supposed to bring along a gift too to exchange gifts with our other colleagues. I had no idea what to get and my gift was so last minute. I was at the Cathay with Chloe before the party and I just grabbed this cute Christmas Starbucks tumbler.

Chloe and I met up with Yus, Ruth and Josh at Arab Street to pick up our costumes. I must say it wasn't a pleasant journey with the rain and all. I practically lost my temper there and then.

Chloe and I decided to meet Arf at Harbourfront first after that so the three of them left first to Sentosa. Arf hadn't bought her gift yet and since we were all so busy and rushing, she just grabbed this Christmas paper bag with Santa's face on it filled with chocs frm Candy Empire. I had refused to buy anything from Candy Empire as gift because I do NOT want karma to happen and get chocolates for a gift in return!

I think it's common knowledge that chocolates of all sorts do NOT get along with me. Anyway, I exchanged my gift with Sufi during the party. He gave me an Adidas water bottle! thanks thanks

AND GUESS WHAT?! HAHA. Arf got the exact same chocolate paper bag thing she bought as a gift. HAHAHA. Alvin had bought the exact same thing for her as gift. It was so funny ah! But she said they tasted nice so yeah.

It was okay I guess. It was so much louder and crazier last year with all the cool people, but most of them had left. Honestly I preferred last year's party.

Oh yes. I think I forgot to mention that our shop had chosen Lord of the Rings for our theme. HEH. so not fairytale actually!
